Executive, Retail Media Business (Contract of Employment)
The Role & Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a Retail Media Executive to help drive revenue by selling ad spaces to key industries such as property, automotive, insurance, and financial services. You’ll support the team in generating leads and closing deals with brands, agencies, and direct clients to monetise Versa’s advertising inventory, working closely with the marketing and product teams to deliver our ad offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Identify & target potential clients to build a healthy sales pipeline
- Generate leads, pitch Versa’s retail media offerings, and help close advertising deals to meet sales targets
- Build & maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with clients and key contacts
- Manage sales pipeline from prospecting to negotiation and closing, including post-sales account support, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Represent Versa at industry events and networking sessions to build brand awareness and connect with potential clients
- Work closely with internal teams to develop compelling sales propositions, case studies, and ensure successful campaign execution
- Provide regular sales updates and performance reports to your manager/Head of Department
Job Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of relevant sales experience in digital/media sales, ad tech, or performance marketing, preferably in lead-gen industries
- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in sales are encouraged to apply
- Proactive, can-do attitude with the willingness to do cold outreach, negotiate, and close deals
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through information and draw useful conclusions
- Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office working applications (Doc/Word, Sheet/Excel etc)
- Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
