If you’re new here, it’s simple: we’ve added a fun, randomized twist to how you earn when you share Versa with your friends.
- The Standard Perk: You’ll still get your usual RM10 referral reward for every friend you bring in.
- The Quest Bonus: For your first successful referral during the Quest period, you unlock a Guaranteed Mystery Reward on top of your usual fee.
- The Big Reveal: This reward is randomized. You’ll unlock an extra bonus of at least RM5, all the way up to a RM10,000* Grand Prize!

How to Unlock Your Mystery Reward:
• Step 1 – Join Quest
Join “Referral Mystery Quest” in your Versa app
• Step 2 – Invite Friends
Click Refer Now to send your unique link or code to a friend.
• Step 3 – Friend Signs Up
Ensure your friend creates a new and verified account with Versa using your unique referral code or link during the Quest Period.
• Step 4 – First Cash-In
Ensure your friend makes a first cash-in of min. RM100 into any Versa products. The cash-in must be reflected in the app during the Quest Period.
• Step 5 – Watch for “Bud”
Once your friend’s account is verified (approx. 2–4 working days), keep an eye out for an in-app pop-up from our mascot, Bud!
• Step 6 – Tap to Reveal
Tap the notification to reveal your randomized mystery prize! You could be the lucky RM10,000* winner!

What Counts as a “Successful Referral”?
To qualify for the mystery reward, ensure your friend (the Referee) completes these steps within March:
✅ New to Versa: They must not have an existing Versa account.
✅ Your Code: They must sign up using your unique referral code or link.
✅ Verified: Their account verification must be completed by the last day of the Quest period.
✅ The RM100 Rule: They must make a first cash-in of at least RM100.
✅ Reflected: The cash-in must be fully reflected in their app before the Quest ends.

Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)
1. What if I refer to more than one person?
You’ll still get the usual RM10 reward for everyone you refer! However, this special Mystery Reward only triggers for the very first friend who completes their onboarding with Versa within the Quest period.
2. Do I still get my usual referral fee?
Yes! This mystery reward is an added bonus on top of the standard fee you usually receive.
3. Is the reward guaranteed?
If you’ve tapped the ‘Join Now’ button for this Quest before sending your unique link or code, then yes! For your first successful referral during the Quest Period, you are guaranteed a prize.
The amount is randomized, ranging from a small boost to the RM10,000* grand prize.
4. What happens if my friend signs up but doesn’t cash in?
You’ll only unlock the mystery reward once your friend successfully completes that first cash-in of at least RM100. If they’ve signed up but haven’t cashed in yet, no worries! Just remind them to complete it by the last day of the Quest period so you both can enjoy the rewards.
5. My friend signed up but didn’t use my referral link/code. Can I still get the reward?
Unfortunately, no. Our system needs that unique link or code to track the referral. If they missed it, don’t worry—you can still refer another friend using your link to earn the reward!
6. My friend’s first cash-in was less than RM100. Am I still eligible?
No. A referral is only “successful” for this quest if the initial cash-in is at least RM100.
If their first cash-in was less than RM100 and they top up the balance later after account verification, you will still not be eligible for the total reward. Be sure to remind your friends to start with RM100!
7. I’ve completed this Quest. When will I get the randomized reward?
Once your friend’s account is verified (which usually takes 2–4 working days after their first cash-in), just log in to your Versa app. You’ll see our mascot, Bud, pop up to reveal your mystery reward!
8. I’ve revealed my mystery reward! When will it be credited to my account?
Your rewards will be credited within 30 – 60 working days to your Versa Cash or Versa Cash-i account, whichever has the higher balance.
9. What’s the difference between this Quest and the Versama-Sama Quest?
Think of this Mystery Referral Quest as a special one-time bonus for your first referee within the Quest period to get that mystery reward (up to RM10,000*).
The Versama-Sama Quest is our ongoing program that rewards you with RM10* and bonus returns (+0.5%* p.a.) for each subsequent successful referral.
You can participate in both quest at the same time. To qualify for entry to the Versama-Sama Quest, ensure you have a minimum of RM1,000 in Versa Save. Refer to Versama-Sama campaign page for more info.
